Do you have a choke on that sled or is it just a primer for cold starts?

Do you have a choke on that sled or is it just a primer for cold starts? as i recall most skandics have primers... no choke and its probably the same problem i have with that 82 nordik... Oh yeah dont worry dude i have to do the same w mine lol! But can be a pain in the ass :cussing: Loose throttle cable? Pilot jets clogged? but when you prime open the hood and watch the primer fuel line to see if theres any fuel gettin to it makes starting lots easier

Primer only and ,Cold it will take 2 primes and one pull, but warmed up i have to hold it wide open or it will not start.

I checked the compression last week and both sides are the same at 135#.

High or low float level may cause this. It is not unusual to have to crack the throttle open a bit to start a sled when it is warm but not pulling like you have to. How are the pilot jets as far as being clean? They tend to plug with varnish and you need to take them out and physically clean them.

Does it idle? if not its the throttle cable...

On the IQ, you might try changing to one size smaller pilot jet, the ones from the factory are a bit rich. My 2006 600 does it too...

Well... Try tightening your idle bolt on the carb and adjust it to preferred idling sound
