Above sled runs perfect in every way for 25 minutes then suddenly dies out. Let it cool 15 minutes or less and it restarts and again runs perfect for the exact time before it dies out. Just had stator rewound and problem still exists. Changed module and no improvement. Loss of spark and recovery time is brief. The 25 or 30 minute ride to break down seems to take forever. Trying to think what cound be overheating, motor does not feel overheated. Anyone been down this road?

Kept digging into electrical problems and it appears resolved. Ignition key switch would short with enough resistance to kill the cdi box. This condition only happened when the under hood heat built enough to heat the switch. What a p i t a to find as it so closely resembles stator failure. Anything intermittent is the pits. Own a snowmobile and occasionally weep. Sanford

Seen this a few times, unplug the key switch and try. CDI box can do the same thing. Sounds like a heat soaked electrical problem. Good luck!
