I have a 2009 AC T570. all the spec sheets say it has a fuel cap of 40.8L (10 gal). twice now i have driven it from full to where the gage says it needs fuel and the engine starts to sputter (I havnt run it compltly dry because i havnt had that opertunity). At this point i fill it up and it only takes around 25L, then it says it is full and the tank is full.

Is this purly false advertising or is there somthing i can fix to get the 40L it is meant to have.

Mabee your fuel pick up is floating around in the tank and allows it to suck air when you get lower on fuel. Most cat"s fuel gauges read very concervative, I know on the firecats they where tying down the pick up with a lead weight.
