I am currently working on various probes to find a set that work. If you have "exposed tips" you WILL HAVE A PROBLEM. The probes I have tried in the PYRO 2000 are: all SUPER X probes (3 styles), EGT exposed tip, and an off the shelf no-name. The NO-NAME was the only exposed tip that shows correct numbers.

I am told that the only probe to read correct is EGT AVEBGER probe. This came from the manufacturer of the PYRO 2000 by the name of HOYT. I have ordered a set and will test them this week.

All temps are varified by another set up probes and an avenger guage. I trust the avenger vary much as it is the one I DYNO with.
