11-17-2002, 04:28 PM
The federales (RCMP) , dear god. How much did that cost. Down here it is 103.75 plus a victim surcharge. Seems like we are the victims. Snow looks good Zog

Zog
11-17-2002, 04:50 PM
Yeah...it sucked all right!

Fail to carry drivers licence - $115
No registration - $115
Noise - $115
No insurance - $575
Speeding (140 in 50km zone)- $450
TOTAL - $1370

Looks like I'll be putting off the V-Force 3's for a while!! :cussing:

Snow was heavy and sticky. Couldn't get more than 140km/h in 660'. I'll have to install the twin Tillotson HD's. :sarcasm:

11-17-2002, 05:03 PM
yeah the least he could have done was take away the ticket for no drivers licence or maybe he should have given you a warning for that.

Those pics are hilarious zog. That mountie must have quite the hard on for sledders.I live in a subdivision and don't get hasseled about the odd blast around the streets.

Bogie
11-17-2002, 05:47 PM
Zog.....We all know that the Mounties always get their man, but that's ridiculous.
Go and put in a complaint with the Corporal of that Detachment, and see if he'll cut you a deal.

670 is right, it's time for the round slides.........

Zog
11-17-2002, 05:55 PM
I'll have to do that. Hopefully when I show them proof of insurance, my drivers licence and my registration, maybe I can get those ones dropped. The speeding...probably not. I'll change back to my stock can and ask them why they think it's so loud! Maybe I can get that one dropped, too! lol

Tillotson's...here we come!!!

Thanks for the offer, cooley, but it's really not necessary.

I'll take my documents to the detachment tomorrow and see what they can do for me.

Thanks again!!!

Unfortunatly it is funny  . What a crock. I would think they should drop most of the charges when they see your documents, unless the cop has had a bad day. Just remember all in a days fun.

Definatly fight it... hire a third party if you need to. We have a company in town called Points... the supposedly do a real good job.

Fight it all the way. You may want to take a box of donuts with you though when you go to see them. They really like the jelly filled ones. Sucks big time. Most RCMP arn't fans of snowmobilers around here. I think it has something to do with the fact that most are to out of shape to ride them and they have such a comfortable ars grooves in the seats of there trucks that they would just rather drive around hassling law abiding snowmobilers like us that just like to unwind a little every now and then. They give us tickets one day and then the next day they ask for our assisstance when there is a snowstorm and they need our help. Sorry if any one here is a memeber of the RCMP but catch me if you can 'cause I aint stoppin.

You must ove gotten the baddest cop arround, see, two years ago, we built a summer toy with an old 1976 olympic. We added two weels to the front and kept the track on it and took the cab of it. One day, my brother dared me to get a movie at the store with the summer sled so I did. I had to doo about 3 k's on the road to get to the store. As I was goin over a bridge I saw cops parked beside the store, and I said to myself "what can they possibly doo if they see me, well let's find out" so I kept going. I dont know why, but when the cops saw me coming, first they where curious, then puzzled, then they started laughing like carzy. they never gave me a ticket nothing they just took of laughing there heads off.

UPDATE!!

After a visit to the local detatchment with my documents, all is well in Zogland...damages to the wallet are minimal. Looks like it's not going to be a white macaroni Xmas, and the little Zogs will be getting that GI Joe with the Kung Fu grip.

Thanks for the support, gang!

LOL, I would lend him it but I think we would see his next set of pics having the same scenario, only instead of the MXZ700 gettoing stopped, it would be my stolen ten speed with the handle bars upside down for wheelies, and of course Zog.........actually, I could use the rental money......

LOL. Word travels fast in this town!

For those of you who just joined us...Little Zog racked up the 440 MXZx to the tune of $1000. Nice flight...poor landing. Looks like the V-Force reeds will still have to wait.

Zog,why dont you lay off the Pilsner for a couple weeks. That alone would save you enough for reeding 2 sleds. And tell that little Zog that those barn roofs are not made for jumping.
