I wonder if the "fringe" media will leave him alone? I could see NASCAR, Home Depot being upset w/ Tony slugging one of the on air media. These guys know what he's like & know when to approach him or not. However it must get old pretty quick when you have to answer the same dumb questions from some local reporter who doesn't follow racing.

Way to go Tony

He's been involved in a couple of push me shove you's this season.
It would appear he has real time issues with the press or anyone else that gets in his way when he's having a hissy fit or just plain disagrees with what they're saying.
I highly doubt that Home Depot will continue to support Joe Gibbs Racing and Tony Stewart unless he learns how to play nice with the media and fans and who would blame them.
Great driver....

If Home Depot was to yank their sponsorship, I don't think Gibbs would have a hard time finding a sponsor for Tony. Tony's up front racing & gets them a lot of airtime.

That's the problem with NASCAR going corporate & PC, you can't step on anyone's toes. The NBA & NFL have a bunch of jerks the flaunt the moral & judicial laws of society & everyone thinks they're wonderful & Tony has an anger management problem & he's a villain? Something's wrong here.

now he can get back to racing for fun, look for tony to be in one of steve lewis' cars (midgets)on turkey night(nov. 28) in california.I guess lewis is taking 4 drivers out there to run, Dave Darland,Bobby East,Tony Stewart,I think the other is J.J. Yeley.good story about Tony is when he raced locally here(kokomo speedway) in a midget and modified he won the midget feature ,but when he ran the modified feature he learned real quick why the local favorite is elvin hershberger.see elvin runs a differant track (bunkerhill speedway)on sat. for points.seems after he won the feature there he still had time to come watch kokomo races ,well when he got there he found out he could start on the tail because they did not have the car count they needed, and so he did and won from the back his second feature of the night, afterwards a humble stewart bowed to him at the flag stand and said "that man can drive".I will say this how many other drivers from the big leagues come down at least 2-3 nights a week to race with the locals, that is a racer people,I know of only a couple other who doo.

With Ron Fellows getting signed by DEI, it's too bad a Canadian company doesn't get involved. How much would it cost them to sponsor him for 2 races?

I want a conservative 40 percent of the purse. :p bring on the big money but really I would rather run these dirt tracks,FUN is why I like racing not work. ;)

Just got home tonite it was a great race vacation, went down to Homestead last wed. went to the track for all the qualifying and practices. What a tremendous fireball when Spencer hit the wall. Had a great time, and to top it all I'm a Stewart fan. great too see him win the championship.
