I got a 99 Zl 600 carb with a clutch kit and some suspension upgrades. This year I'm putting on a tempa flow to help with the performamce as well as the mileage. As I looked at my pipe I thought maybe I'll just get it ceramic coated (looks good & you don't have to paint it every year). My question is with just the ceramic coating does it make the engine run richer, leaner or about the same? What do you guys think? Any first hand experience out there?

I dont have it but I read alittle about it.The ceramic coating helps keep the heat in and stops cold spots in the pipe for better exhaust scavaging.Thats why you see the factories putting the alumium heatshields around some of their high-performance sleds, and some people thought it just looked good :D

Bone Daddy, Do you know if it make the sled run lean or rich?
