does anyone know if they make a side mirror mount for fiberglass cb whips? i know they make one for the metal style mirrors but i have a 92 ford f150 with the power mirrors and i dont know if they make anything for that... i can always get the hood mount ones but i would like them on my mirrors if anyknow knows any good sites let me know :D thanks alot guys

I've never seen anything but you never know. I have seen lots of folks mount them to the inner upper lip of the box just behind the cab, works good unless you have a cap or some sort of cover. Have you thought of trying one that doubles as your radio ant.? I also saw one at a flea market that looked like a glass mounted cell phone ant. Not sure how well they work but its a slick idea.

i already have a k-40 on my roof for my cb but i like the looks of the whips and yes i am going to make one for the radio and the other for extra cb range i was just hoping they had something for mirrors since the look better then the hood mounts

I'm sure they make or you can modify a bracket for the big ol whips to attach too.Or just mount them on the inside of the box at the front like ZR said.If you need chrome naked lady mud flaps or a carpet on the dash installation kit i think 800MXZ or Permafrost could probobly hook ya up.Don't forget the gunrack :D

well i dont realy care about mud flaps my truck is gonna get dirty either way and for the gun rack.. im thinking about it but it wont do much good in wis.. guns have to have cases im still thinking

Nope, there aren't any brackets that mount CB antennas to the mirrors on the new trucks. I went with taking half a four bolt mirror mount bracket and mounted mine to the toolbox. I was then able to route the cable through one of the drain holes in the bed. Works well enough for me.

i think im just gonna go with the hood mounts on this and try to modify them to fit close to the window for a little better look ill post some pics when i get her done
