The only thing I raced this year was my headlight,he won.

If both sleds are stock,I would take the 670.The cat might get the jump on you,but top end the 670 will win. http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

One of my kids ridding buddies brought over a 2002 ZR 600 and I ran it around the field behind the house (640 acres).
I got back and told him I was sure it would`nt run with my sons 98 MXZ 500. Of course he did`nt buy it so we ran them next to one another. Result..... one dissapointed catlover.
The 500 MXZ is a screamer though, I don`t pull my kid by far with my mxz 670 till about 85.

No kidding, my 98 will run with my buddies zl 600 EFI until about 85-90 mph every time, and it takes a good long feild for him to get a few lengths on me too. *The 670 should have no problem at all. *And if you have a 99 HO the race will be over before it even starts. http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Hold on guys. *Now naturally I will be a little biased, but I did race a 97 or 98(not an HO) MXZ 670 with my 02 ZR 600 EFI with power valves. *I got him off the line every time, and walked away until about 60 or so, when I would stop pulling away, though by this time I had him by about 4 lengths. *The 670 is a fast machine, and the HO would be tough to beat, but the ZR is fast too. *We will probably have a rematch later this season, and he wants to stud his track some more, but I don't that will help a whole lot.
