How deep should the drive belt sit in the secondary pulley?My belt sits just below the top edge almost even.My friend's Mach Z sits above pulley a little bit I was wondering if my belt was worn enough to effect the top end or where mine is normal.

Check your belt deflection. You want it up in the secondary as high as you can get it with out it dogging the motor down at idle.

Lift your track off the ground and set the deflection so it just starts to creep the track. The belt should sit about a 1/8" above the sheaves or so.

Without proper belt deflection your loosing some lowend take off,kinda like starting in 2nd gear .
