when did that happen ? and i am sure it wasn't a marked trail.

let's not start the season off with sledders getting a bad wrap.

Well this is the story, the guys and I were doing a little water ditch banging along the main hi-way, when i met the cops head on they, pull'd a u'y to chase me, and while i was looking backwards i ran into a cut off telephone post stick'n out of the water about 6'', i went for a LOOP, bent my ifs, torsion, steering bars, not to mention falling in the fridgid april waters. I still managed to get back onand outrun the coppers till i ran out of water to run away on. So i pulled over on the gravel shoulder and surrenderd my banged up rmk, and scratched back to the coppers. I even managed to pull all this off without a fine, just a nasty vulger speach from the cop

this water run was about 3 miles long, doing about 80 mph

hope u liked it  :p :p

what is a marked trail?????haha

Good to see ya made it out ok . Seems like they are harsher up in the NWT, as Zog got hammered by them. I take it the sled is ready for this season.

Good thing you're ok RMK...could have been a lot worse, in more ways than one. Can't believe the law let you off so easy...he must have been a sledder too.

I did something similar to that this season I hit a speed limit sign. Only gave me a brused elbow and knee not a road rash ouch.
No cops on me yet.

Bummer, but funny in an ironic way...LOL

911, so since you had a 3 mile water stretch, how many miles did you get on the sled before the crash? 1-2 miles?LOL At least you were ok and the cop let you off with a warning. ;) Bet the insurance company loved that one! :0:

know how you feel rmk, I own a 99 rmk 500 in awsome shape or should i say, use to be in awsome shape. I rolled it last saturday after hitting some slik conditions on the side of the road. IT went out of control and flipped end fore end. I cart weeled and shattered my right foot and then came to a sudden stop when my neck came in contact with a metal sign pole. I think i will just relax for a while beings i don't have much choice.

I don't think rmk911 has access to a pc away from work so I'll try to answer a few questions. The RMK is a 2002 with a full season on it before he had this crash last spring in april. The cops did'nt fine him with anything because it's not illegal to drive carelesly in a ditch around here!
The only reason they stopped him ( that is in my opinion anyway) is because only a person ridding a stollen sled rides the way RMK911 rides his! LOL :withstupid: I'm sure he'll let you know if I'm wrong about anything.

Cochrane is a little more sled friendly than Timmins if we were doing that, here I would be behind bars. We can get nailed for going over 50km anywhere in city limits, because of a bylaw passed, even the lakes. Last year they had radar traps set up before the trails were even open! :cussing: I think I'm going to move to Cochrane

yes they are more forgiving here, usually they are only on the trails on sat or sun,and even then its always the same spot(stretch behind north adventure inn)they dont venture to far from the coffee shop :D and we wont get into how bad they drive a sled

Ohhh Ohh....

It appears 911 broke the columb secant loading rule...

Stress_max=P/A[1+(e x c/r^2)sec(L/2r x (P/EA)^.5)]

That'll do it every time...

Captn... engineer in me...
