hey guys am new to this i need to know how the rings on the piston line up on the piston there is a notch for the top and bottom ring are the ring spos to just sqeez togather or just to turn the rings so the rings just slid in to the notch?????

There are pins in the ring grooves. The ends of the ring butt up to this pin on both sides. The purpose of the pins are to stop the rings from turning on the piston so the ring ends don't catch one of the ports on the cylinder wall.
