Hi guys, I just bought a 2006 Vector and it was delivered this morning
drove it up to my place and found the yellow warning lamp on . I have let it cool down and kicked it over again , it still lights up ??
I am in Japan and don't speak Japanese (crazy I know ), and there are no manuals with it or couldn't find any. Can anyone please help me.

Which yellow light keeps coming on? is it the triangle warning light? The temp light? With the Yamaha's, when you 1st start them up,the yellow warning light comes on and your not supposed to drive it until it goes off. If thats not it, the warning light will also come on if your low on fuel, or low on oil. If it's the temp light than check the coolant. Is there enough? Is there enough snow for the track to kick up on the heat exchangers? If it's none of the above than you better bring it to the shop.

Thanks Bullet, I am such a gumby, I went back out and looked properly at the dash, and sure enough it was low on fuel, I was expecting a low fuel lamp not a warning lamp.
Once again thanks for your reply.
Hi guys - sounds like you solved the yellow warning light problem so can somebody help me with a question. I'm looking at purchasing a 2006 Nytro ER 120. It looks good but I know very little about Yamahas or any snowmobiles for that matter. I'm relatively new to sleding and found this sled at a local dealer. Can anyone give me an opinion on this machine? Quality, reliability, ride, handleing, reputation, etc. Would you give it a thumbs up or should I keep looking?? Thanks for your help !!! Ted

This is the Ditch Banger version of the Yamaha Vector. Same engine & power, but geared lower for more low end power, which means slower top speed. Quality, Reliability, & Reputation are unmatched. Handleing and ride are going to be stiffer. Great engine! One guy has over 40,000 miles on his RS Venture & has only done the required maintenance which the owners manual tells you to do.
