Was at my dealer today and he didn't seem to think you could tell the hours on a sled from the DESS. He mentioned that it was possible on a PWC but not a sled. I'm sure I have read forums about checking hours on a sled. Can anybody comment on this??Thanks !!!

??? I asked my Dealer the same question and got the same answer as you. My new 2003 has a Hour Meter on it.... :D

I'm 99.9% sure they can tell the engine run time from the engine controller.

Yes they can tell the hours, average speed, and mileage from the MPEM. I checked my 03 gade and it has a digital hour readout as well as the odometer.

Yes my dealer says same... he even told me that my name, phone number and sled serial numbers are all stored on the DESS system.

RPM,s over heat, how long it ran hot. for warranty purposes i guess they can tell that too now with the computers on the sled now EH.? ??? ??? ???
