i have a 1996 xlt 600 with an annoying bog off idle and when cruising at about 55 mph if you pin it it bogs also, very annoying, recently rebuilt top end because pto piston melted, cleaned carbs, replaced plugs, and plug boots, could this be a crank seal leak? do they leak noticeably externally? any ideas? thanks.

i would clean the carbs and also set the needles too also may want to have the carbs syc . have an 02 indy with the same issue.

thanks a lot, cleaned and synced carbs visually, they were way out of sync, just took for drive and it really rips now with no bogging, thanks a lot.
