Ok well,I got my Tcat home from my bud who sank the carbs, got it into the garage cranked up the heat it was -10 below, fired it up let it warm up,open the door took off WoW this thing is sick took it out of town about 4 miles pounding drifts and having fun.Than i went to turn around and the track locked up yea LOCKED UP and the air erupted in smoke from the belt bad their i was F**Ked, the sled just didnt move the secondairy clutch was not moving the belt was smoked that was a new arctic cat belt.walked 4 miles to the house, got the truck and loaded a Tcat on a tilt bed BY MY SELF.What a bitch that was. next morning i jacked the sled up with a stand and put my spare belt on,ran good everything moved freely.took it off the trailer and took it for a run.Somthing was wrong i could hear a thumping and i felt it in my feet got it back to town in the shed and cranked up the heat until it was warm and dry. the track seemed loose so i tighed it up some, not to much tho.and took it back out for about 1 hour, got back home got my son all ready for a ride and the track was locked up, like the brake was on.smoked the belt again NOT GOOD got it out of the yard it was moving but not very good than the primary clutch shaterd.got it in the shed and thats where it is.Why would the track lock up???? anyone know?
any help would be nice
Thanks Brian

If it was the chain binding, it would be a first, problem has to be in your tunnel.

If the sled was in the water, check the chaincase for ice. Also, if the PTO bearing on the driveline is failing, it may lock the driveline up as you are describing. Is the speedometer working?
