uncle fester 01-07-2010, 06:37 PM hey all can you tell me what year my sled is? i was told it was a 1992 exciter2, the vin is 88S-002051. i just ordered some clutch parts and they do not fit, so i am not sure if i messed up or Dk is wrong. thanks to all who share!:wink: snowdad4 01-07-2010, 07:27 PM 88S is from 91, should be equipped with factory electric start. what parts did your order that didnt fit? et340 01-07-2010, 07:47 PM yes it is a 91. I forgot to write the vin down.. but know it started with SS snowdad4 01-08-2010, 08:58 PM your hood may start with ss, but your vin wont. i am compiling a list of pre 80 sleds, and yours may be on there. check it and post it.
