my crank case filled full of fuel, wasted my new crank !how could this happen? there was fuel to the top of the case when i took the jugs off.its a 96 phazer. held me retired pops u are the captain when it comes to these sleds thanks for the advice all is welcome

Two ways gas can fill the case is through a sticking carb inlet needle/seat, or through a hole in the fuel pump diaphram. You could also have a float that is not properly set or a float that has a hole in it and is sinking, allowing fuel to flow, but those are not as common.
