Thanks to you guys I decided to tackle the track replacement on my kids sled.

It wasn't as bad as I thought, the only thing that was bound up was the set screw in the Wheel on the drive spindle. Everything went smooth.

Anyway, here's my plan: replace the .520" track with a .750" and add 96 .875" studs.

I've got a rear heat exchanger protector.

My question is, will these studs clear the front exchanger.

Anybody been there, done that?

Thanks

Tom

The sled is essentially stock.

The only changes are jets and needles settings.

Under ideal conditions, Temps in the teens and smooth hardpack, I can run to just over 90 mph.

They'll clear, I used to have a 1.25 track on mine without any modification.

Thanks Andw1,

That's what I was hoping to hear.

The Track and studs are on order...
