I just got a 1995 Formula SL 500 on the weekend and I am kind of confused about something. In the tunnel at one point there is only about a few centimeters of clearance between the track and the top of the tunnel. There is no way I could stud the track with it like this and I want to know if I can increase the clearance via the suspension setup, or other means. I know its been tinkered with by the last owner, new shocks and stuff so they may he done something wrong in reassembling it?

my friend, oh my goodness,is there a reason why you feel you have to stud this track, what are you bent on trying to prove my friend.keep in mind this is a 500 sl which is a tank to start with(515 pounds),no insult intended. so you add what 96 studs, add 3 pounds of weight.but not only are you adding 3 pounds of weight, you are adding 21 ponds of rotating mass.good luck bud and on a what 70 horse power plant.you have just reduced that 70 horse to 56.7 horse
