I have a problem that maybe somebody can help me with. I have a 1993 Formula Plus with a 583 that I purchased this winter with the motor out of the sled. I rebuilt the motor and re-installed it. It will start now but will only run on idle. When I push on the throttle even after the sled has run for 5 minutes, it dies right away. I installed new jets in the carbs and still the same problem. Can someone help me? PLEASE???

Sounds like carb trouble to me. But someone can maybe ellaborate a bit more........ You say the engine was rebuilt and assuming it was done correctly. How long was it sitting before you got it running? You might need to get the carbs cleaned thoroughly. They may have some clogged circuits due to gas breaking down. Does it pick back up after you hit the throttle when primed? I am no expert however, I might be able to give you an idea as to what to try. Make sure you have all the carb. boot clamps tight and make sure all fuel lines are clamped as well as clean the carbs. I had similar issues except my sled would idle rough, but when the throttle was applied past 1/4 way it was fine. Although it did not want to take the gas after idling for awhile, flip on the choke and it would pick-up. I cleaned the carbs., made sure everything was tight and clamped. Problem Solved. Hope You Figure This Out.

Kind of sounds to me like you pilot jet and/or passage is plugged or clogged up.
