I bought a new 2009 Switchback 800 this year. I know there was a major recall on the engine and several fuel map flashes but my switchback still cuts out once in a while. It's just for a split second and then it fires backup again. My dealer said it's a problem the 800 faces. I tried a 600 Rush last weekend and it didn't do that at all.

Any other Switchback owners out there experiencing the same problem? If anyone knows of a fix, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

In case anyone wants to know, the sled is all stock. I'm too afraid to make any modifications to it until I get this problem resolved.

I had the same problem with my assault found that it was a fuel probem the higher the octan the better. I only use shell 91% octain fuel the 2010 upgrade helps too felt slugish at first but realy came around after a 100 miles ore so
