hey guys just wondering where my voltage regulator is on a 1997 polaris xplorer 500 atv. 4 stroke. because it blows bulbs as soon as you start it. and everything else except l.e.d high beam light.

Your voltage regulator should be in the front of your wheeler, in front of your radiator location. Youll have to take the front rack off to gain to the front plastic cover where you have an acess to the radiator and wire circus board location. Look around in that area and the voltage regulator should be there. WL.

i have access to all those wires and motherboard, but the box in there is called a reverse limiter box we took it to the dealer and we asked for a voltage regulator and they gave us one but we couldnt find anything like what they gave us on the atv. were puzzled. wanna go night riding again lol
