I'm looking a xtc deluxe 500 with reverse I have read that the xtc is gear to high from Yamaha. I see the xtc deluxe with reverse has 22 upper gear and a 40 lower and the non reverse is 22 upper 39 lower
I would think the 40 tooth on bottom would really gear it down from 22/39. The owner told me it gets to 60-70 mph pretty quick but doest go any faster, could the be all the gear allows? Why do mechanical reverse sleds have lower gearing? It also has a 1.25" ripsaw track that could be slowing it down some.
