I can purchase Zues modular helmet with electric shield for $159. Is this a good buy, has any one used one of these helmets? Any info would be appreciated!

They are bottom of the line. You get what you pay for, especially when it comes to a modular. Coffey Distributing and others were selling the Bombardier modular at the snowmobile show in Toronto for $300 CAD ($189 USD) + taxes.

Rule #1 You get what you pay for!!

Rule of thumb I have always followed. $100 helmet for a $100 noggin, $200 helmet for a $200 noggin..... It all depends on how much of your noodle you want to protect.
