I just recently bought my first snowmobile. Its a 2005 Ski-doo Mach Z 1000. It has 4700 miles on it. Engine was rebuilt 700 miles ago. Got to test it out 2 weeks ago with the little bit of snow we got here ND. Everything seemed to run great. I was just wondering if there is anything I should know about this model recalls or whatever.

The only thing I heard that people have done as a "just to be sure" is they have added a secondary inline fuel pump. From what I've heard, the Mach Z 1000 are known for fuel starvation. The other thing that has been recommended is to put in aluminum carb boots. The rubber ones tend to crack and cause the motor to lean out. Other then that, make sure to have lots of fuel and oil cause they are a blast to ride.
