: Christmas
Darryn Duncan 11-20-2002, 08:45 AM I sure hope I'm not the only one who has set up the christmas tree and all the decorations in/out of the house. The wife is so pumped about christmas, now that the bombers aren't in the grey cup. Please somebody else have their tree up!
paul yarek 11-20-2002, 08:49 AM the outside decorations will be this weekend and the tree inside won't be for two weeks atleast.
phazerhater 11-20-2002, 08:53 AM I probably won't get the tree up until after US thanksgiving, or week after...
At leaset you have it all set up and done with. To set our up, it required an entire livingroom overhaul to fit everything!LOl
Captain Kirk 11-20-2002, 09:08 AM Would that be a real live tree or a fake one. Seems to me, if it's a real one, it would get a bit dried out in five weeks?
Our tree goes up the first week in Dec. I put up a few outside lights a couple weeks ago, (While it's still somewhat warm outside) but they don't go on until the tree is up.
z800rotax 11-20-2002, 10:12 AM I'm going to put up the lights this weekend as well while it's still warm. That is unless the rest of my sled parts come
in,then i'll be busy doing that all weekend :D I'm not a big fan of climbing up ladders anyways as us big fat guys make a big thud when hitting the ground :0:
Machzzzz1 11-20-2002, 10:14 AM LOL. I never take the outside lights off. Just up plug them. Lazy.....
The tree will come sometime early December. Right now is just way to early. What were you thinking zert800. :D :D
Two million candlepower up outside already...another million or so going up this weekend.
Wife was racing aroung the house last night with wreaths, holly, garland, etc. Guess I'll have to bring out the Stihl and execute a tree very soon.
Captain Kirk 11-20-2002, 01:23 PM Zog, are you Tim the Tool Man!
lol...guess it kind of sounds that way, doesn't it...
NHIcegator 11-20-2002, 04:49 PM The wife has donr the outside already,oy vey the electric bill I'm gonna have.
I feel like Chevy Chase in the christmas vacation movie :p
XCR583 11-20-2002, 06:01 PM The wife did everything last weekend. Our little 3 ft. fake tree is up and decorated even. I come home from school and she had it all done. I said "Already?"!! We havent turned the lights on yet though. NOt till after Thanksgiving!! SWRules
Team_Arctic 11-20-2002, 10:52 PM we normally dont put our tree up till we have snow about the end of november 1 or 2nd week of december cuz we pull the tree with the sleds last year i had to use the truck took the fun out of it
I put up the mistletoe, hoping that LadyK would drop in.
Bone Daddy 11-21-2002, 01:02 AM I still have to take down the halloween dec's :(
cooley 11-21-2002, 04:22 AM well zert we have our fake tree up and and lights on the windows are turned on and we also have wraped presents under the tree already. we may have to watch them as our 11 month old baby finds them very fun to rip open ??? :inlove:
Wolfman 11-21-2002, 09:18 AM Since the entire family lives in Colorado, I go back there for the holidays. Consequently, I don't bother to decorate the house. As I live alone, I just don't see the point. Now my Mother is already talking about how much of her village is set up (it almost takes up their entire living room).
jacqui583 11-21-2002, 10:17 AM Got the outside lights up last week when I had a week off work. Won't turn them on until December, that's when I'll do the inside stuff. Getting the itch, though!
Jacqui.
Darryn Duncan 11-21-2002, 03:44 PM Cooley, we don't put any presents under the tree until the kids are asleep on christmas eve (they are 2 and 4) the two year old would have everything unwrapped.
Bogie's house. He must have been busy today!
pistnbroke 11-24-2002, 02:38 PM Hey Zog that Bogie goes all out at x-mas, hell how does he make the time to get out and ride?.
Bogie 11-24-2002, 03:32 PM I'm just trying to keep up with the Zogmeister...
Just got in from installing a new 200 megawatt powerline from the hydro dam...
Casa Zog could be mistaken for Fort Smith International Airport!
More lights to go...but it's nearly time to throw out the first drunk at Gootch's annual Grey Cup extravaganza.
Go Esks!
