JUST TALKING AWAY ABOUT THE GOOD TIMES AND TIMES TO COME ;)

So 3 of my buddies, all 20 years old, went out and bought brand new F7 sno pro's this year. Two of the guys bought the green the other bought the black.

They have them all at one house and were messing around in the yard last night. I was standing there in the dark having a blast :) Here in SE WI there's no snow on the ground yet so were getting kind of anxious :D

Also in the this guys backyard is a 70ft or so table top and another jump.

SOON as there's snow on the ground I'll post pictures of them tearing it up.

OH I CAN'T WAIT :)

Way to go Spaceout-02. Thats the way I earned my money to. Then I went to this thing called college and spent all my money. Then my car that was good before started to die. So I decided to by a 00chevy silverado and guess what now I'm broke. Oh well its hard to keep up with these expensive hobbies I have. Those Fs should be nice sleds can't wait to test ride one and maybe buy one next winter once I'm out of school.

That doesn't look like a farm setting to me in the background. LOL I'd like to know how farming at 18 put that much cash in your pocket? Maybe trucking commercially for a farmer, or something?

I can probably get you a replacement hood. It is from last years Sno Pro. Green in color. If interested, e-mail to mattson@prtel.com.

I am not kidding about the farming thing I have farmed my entire life moved off the farm and now live in town. My buddy who is 18 also has a new 400ex and a new 440 sno-pro a cbr 600F4i. and to top it off a 2002 dodge sport with the cummins in it. and we are both farmers and no we dont truck or anything we just put i long days on large farms. I am not trying to sound like a hard a$$ but thats just they way we make a living around here, and have fun doin it. But my buddy works full time farming I now went back to college so I have to hold off on the toys and finish school.

Spaceout_02,

Glad to hear you belong to a club. Too may times when I ride around Dane county and strike up a conversation with strangers trail side, I find out they don't belong to a club. Try to explain the importance of joining a club, but never know if it pays off ???

I live just down the road from you in Oregon. Grew up on a dairy farm a few miles from where I currenlty live. Good luck with your continued education.

What dealer do you get your Cat's though? I used to go to Benders up in Arlington, before he retired.

---------

For the first couple of years my friend and I who often ride up in the Mackinaw area were talking about "joining a club". We'd do the usual thing as far as putting some money in a "groomer collection display", but didn't join a club. One day at a local Golf course restraunt we were sitting at a bar (eating and drinking a couple of cokes) and a guy comes in and gets the groomer money out of the collection box. He starts chatting with the bartender and we overhear that he's the president of a local chapter and he was also collecting a few applications (I can't remember if the bartender had held them or exactly how he picked them up). Well we started talking to the guy and ended up asking him for applications to join their club. The guy was almost SHOCKED that we asked to join the club.

Happily he had some applications handy and we filled them out on the spot and paid our dues.

My point is, sometime out of town sledders would like to join, but we get distracted (riding) and there's not enough places where applications are visable, (like right next to the collection recepticles for groomers). We were members of the MSA for two years before joining a local club and are still members of the MSA (Michigan Snowmobile Association).

If you don't put out some applications, most people will not put forth the effort to figure out where your club is and how to join. Gotta have those membership applications handy.

ATOMICAT,

Excellent point!!! I'll have to throw some applications from our club in a zip-lock bag and keep them in the trunk of my sled.
