I got a 98 zr600 efi. When taking off, it seems like there's a dead dead spot in the throttle. it only happens between 10 and 30 mph. Not sure were to start on this issue. There is a small crack in the exhaust pipe, and not sure if a lack of back pressure could cause this or not. other then this it runs perfect. Starts right up and rips after 30 mph. Any advice would be appreciated.

thanks
Matt

I had similar issue with one, We came to find out it was a bad kill switch, once we replaced it everything was fine. Keep in mind if there is a dead spot on an EFI sled it very well could be electrical as there are no carb adjustments. Start at the kill switch first by using a bypass clip, if that solves the problem then replace the entire switch assembly.

let me know how you make out, hopefully this helps
