Buddy has '99 Vulcan w/aftmkt pipes. He bought it used, but was guaranteed correct jetting was done when pipes were installed. I believe the guy that told him that 'cause the bike is in like-new codition, very well taken care of. When it's warm, he has to use the choke for the first 15 min or so 'til it runs properly. When it's cooler like now, he has to leave some choke on all the time, or it won't run right. I haven't owned a bike for a long time, and don't remember having this type of problem. I told him about the Tempa Flow for sleds, but didn't know if there was anything like it for bikes. What do you guys think????

Tell him to take it into a dealer and for about 20 bucks they will check the air , gass mixture. Sounds like the air jet is not oppened enough. If is has sat for a long time the carb might need cleaned. Jets could be pluged with varnish from old gass.

There is no Tempa Flow in bikes
