i was wondering if anyone knew how to align the clutches without using the clutch alignment tool. i heard it can done by using a straight edge and just measuring but i dont know what it should measure. i have a 2000 mxz 700 any help would be appreciated.

The spec's are listed in the Doo manuals. And yes, you can do it that way.

I don't know your measurements, but I'm sure someone here can look it up for you.
