when installing the new track standing behind the sled with the track on the ground wich way should the arrow on the track face down or towards the front of the sled or dont it matter. :(

The arrow goes in the direction of rotation.

arrow points in direction of track rotation... so unless you spend the majority of your time in reverse......

If you tip the sled on its side and you are looking at the bottom of the skidframe with the track on, the arrow needs to be pointing towards the rear of the sled. If you have the sled on the ground in its normal riding position, and your pick up the snowflap and the arrow is lookin at ya in the face, it should be pointing up as it comes around the rear idlers, and then pointing towards the front of the sled as it comes around the curve.
