everything else stock

my plan is to make it as light as possible so on that note i need an opinion or two
i was thinking about removing the foam from the hood but wasnt sure of it actual purpose
also im getting rid of the stock airbox for three uni filters
i was also wondering what people thought about getting rid of the oil injection system

thanks for any info

I'd keep the oil injection that's the way it was designed to run.

if you must you can cut the tunnel,,lighten your seat, change the skis, loose the bumpers and trim,, remove the extra suspension wheels,,powder coat the exhaust get rid of the heat sheilds, port the track,,replace steel parts with custom aluminum peices
get rid of the handle bar padding........

i have a storm with a 861 kit i would not get rid of airbox i did bad idea and i would keep oil injection if u are worried about those to things for weight not being rude but take a dump before u ride also keep an eye out for a light weight tunnel triple pipes light weight trailing arms seem to be weaker at least that is what noticed port the track get rid of stock muffler and run lighter can lighter seat and defenitly plastic skis
