I have an XC SP 800 2002 and would like to know what would be the best clutch kit to install for aggressive trail and lake riding.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Erlandson Performance has some pre-manufactured clutch kits, and I've heard good things about their support. I know that there are indivduals out there that could recommend a decent setup based on separate pieces and parts, as well. That's really not something that I have gained a deep understanding of personally, though.

Goodwin Performance is another that I've come across that sells a kit.

I think an improved clutching setup is a definite improvement, after having switched back and forth between 2 sleds this past weekend, one with an aftermarket kit ( possibly EPI) and the other still with stock clutching. Better backshifting will allow you to get back on the power quicker after slowing for a turn, etc.

Good Luck, I hope you find a setup that interests you!

EPI, (Erlandson Perf.) Call them up and tell them what you want the end result to be and they'll hook you up good. Very resonable prices too
