I heard that this was posted some place else, but my computer takes so long to open these up, I thought that i would just ask. Is there a recall for the 2001 ZR 800? I thought that it had something to do with the pistons loosing compression after they warm up. I tried to talk to customer service at Arctic Cat, but I am always put on hold for days! Does anybody have any up to date info on this topic. My dealer doesn't know squat. I'm not very happy with him.http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forum/html/emoticons/cussing.gif

YES, there is a recall on the 01 800. It is a 02 piston Kit update. They were having piston skirt failures I guess.

What is the holdup?? Its the damn problems at the docks isnt it?? How much are pistons??

Just took my 01 zr800 in yesterday for the piston kit service.......free :D

Just got the new pistons installed today. sucks I have to break it in again!

Where do you live?? The dealers here in Minnesota keep telling me they are on back order and have no idea when they are coming in.
