ARCTICZRT600 11-22-2002, 03:35 PM Who needs a CCW permit? he he Just kiddin'. It is still a bit bulky though.
YellowBelly 11-22-2002, 03:47 PM Nice. I'd like to get a Ruger GP-100 .357 Mag revolver, but wife won't let me buy a handgun. :(
02MXZ600 11-22-2002, 05:13 PM Neato!!! Have fun and be careful with it. :)
paul yarek 11-22-2002, 10:36 PM hope the kids don't shoot a hole through the floor with it.

Sled Dogg 11-24-2002, 05:38 PM I needed it the nigght before Holloween heading to Articzrt600's house. I grabbed the wrong exit off 75 and ended up in the poorest and worst dam area. Rob laughed is butt of saying how I'd better get out of there. What a ride thast was. Beth could have killed me.

highlandergerman 11-24-2002, 09:45 PM i would much rather have my glock 21c. and it is a little hard to conceal, but then that is what a concealed weapons permit is for. nice looking gun. the more, the merrier.
XCR583 11-25-2002, 03:34 PM NIce pistol! I like the 40 caliber. My friend has a 40 caliber glock. Only thing is, not as cheap to shoot as the 9mm. I want to get a Ruger P-95. Maybe after christmas!! SWRules
Thats a really nice pistol. Don't shoot your eye out ;)

Don't lump everyone into the same class as this moron.
Machzzzz1 11-26-2002, 10:29 AM Thats a awsome pistol.
I would buy one in a miniute but over here you need to many permits.
One to buy it, one to transport it to your house, one to keep it, one to look at it, one to transport it to the range, one to lock it, one to use it, ETC.
Plus the police will check how you store it and the ammo every little while, so im told.
I dont need that.

Its not quite that bad. Atleast I've never had the cops show up yet.
You do have to take a course, join a club (and stay a member in good standing), maintain your FAC, pass a background check (hey I passed it, can't be that bad), register each gun, and obtain a licence to transport them to and from the range.
But actually, the course was fun, met a bunch of good people, and have had some great shoots at the range. So if you are interested, I would encourage you to look into it.
Of course, guns aren't cheap either, so it will cut into your sledding finances.

Forget it then. :D
Seriously. i got the licence for it (The possession and acquisition for Non Restricted and restricted weapons.) And its up to date. My buddys brother works for the RCMP police training devision and hes always trying to get me into it. He got me all my rifles becasue he also worked part time at a store that sold that kind of stuff. However the store was robbed and the owner took a shotgun blast to his head and was killed. The store closed down... So he doesnt work there anymore and cant give me the deals on the guns and ammo anymore.
I think the coolest gun i got is a mini 14 ruger. You cant buy them anymore here cuz that nut killed all those people in montrel with one but i can own it and use it till i die.
I just didnt want to go thue the hassle of all the papers and stuff. But you make it sound easy. Maybe ill look into it later, but not just now.
ARCTICZRT600 11-27-2002, 08:27 AM I took that bad boy out last night and shot if for the first time. Man oh man, that pistol is something. Very little recoil and is accurate as all hell.

YOU GUYS R NUTS
How so......?
Beaucoup Traction 12-13-2002, 09:53 AM how many violent crimes would there be if every responsible, law abiding citizen was a competent, confident shooter and carried? VERY few......
PowderBoy 12-13-2002, 10:04 AM "Guns Dont kill people.... I kill people"... but seriously i havent had to shoot mine yet and I dont plan on donig so during the rest of my career... we will never be able to rid the world of firearms so by placing licensing restrictions on them and enforcing strict carry laws then that is the only way we will reduce useless gun violence.
