2002 rmk 800 no elec rev.

I know I'm not THAT weak. I have tried and tried, no luck. So I consulted with others, who can not turn it either.

So I'm told I can take a longer 1/4-20 bolt and pull one of the 3 tension bolts and turn it in and it will open the secondary sheave this was.

Anyone ever had to resort to this?

If it opens when you run it on a stand. You should be able to open it to get the belt off.

Try just pushing down or pulling up on the belt, half way between the primary and secondary, turn the track slowly after each pull.

I don't have that clutch but the bolt thing should move it; just turn the track slowly as you do it.
