can a clutch be installed crooked and have a wobble when the engine is running?the zr 800 i bought has a wobble in the clutch and wont engage,is it possible it was installed improper?i hope that is the case would hate to have a bent crank.

Take the clutch off and see if the wobble is on the engine drive shaft or the clutch.

It is possible there is something broken or installed incorrectly in the clutch that is throwing it off balance. If that is the case and you run it much you will damage the crank bearings pretty quickly.

The other possibility of coarse is bad crank or bearings. Is there any 'slop' if you grab the clutch and lift up and down on it? That would be an extreme case but I have seen it...

Even if it is the clutch it would be a good idea to check the crank run-out (pto shaft wobble) anyway.
