this spring after sleddin season is over i want to take the engine out of my 92 ext 550 l/c and put it on some sort of go-kart frame i have a few layin around but the only question i have is will i melt up the pistons? and could i hook the cooling system up to a car radiator? say a small car's like a geo metro? would it work? i plan on useing it for playin in the mud and off road use the only real problem i see is the temp anybody ever tried this??

If I were doing it I would use a streetbike radiator. I think that would work the best. Of course, you could probably get a Metro rad. for much cheaper.

I don't see any problem with doing it. It's just a motor, you can set it up to run in any weather.
