hi - I will be pulling some heavy loads [sled with logs, icefishing hut on runners, etc.] with my 2005 Polaris Edge Touring sled. Other than telling me not to do it :-) does anyone have any suggestions on how best to setup/tune the sled for that work? would just appreciate any suggestions experienced folks can give -- like, should I change the engagement RPMs [higher, lower?] with the clutch spring(s)? thanks.

maybe also gear it different and clutch
for ice huts we usually put two sleds in tandum for up to a 12 x16' size in a foot of snow.
In a couple inches of snow just one sled is good enough.
three sleds for a lake full of spring slush
Just gearing down should help you out a lot, studding the track would also help.
I wouldn't do any clutching
Clean and insp. your clutches more often , watch for belt damage, and clutch cracks if you work your sled real hard smoking the belt.
