My brother was given an exciter with no spark, He thinks it is a 91 because thats what the previuos owners father told him, but I cannot find a legible date tag, how do I tell? Next how do I check the TORS? If that pans out does anyone have a diagnostic flow chart or a wiring diagram they could fax or e-mail? or a service manual for sale with this info? any other ideas? We want to use it as a spare sled and do not want to invest lots of dough because she is kind of rough.

You can bypass the TORS ... just unplug at the carbs and connect the wires together . did you try the kill switch .... bypass it to . And what wiring diagram do you need ? I have it ...

Hey try replacing the spark plug ends frist,they are cheap and my friends exciter had the same problem
