how do you tell if your crank seals are bad?

You will also have a lean hesitation.. BAD!
It will hesitate on take off and then will go after the bog..
Also if you hold the choke half open and the bog goes away it's running lean and might be a crank seal problem.. BAD!
You will blow it up running it this way !

The starting fluid trick works but sometimes it hard to get the Mag side seal with starter fluid..

You might get lucky and be able to tap in the new seal with a long socket and hammer without splitting the block.. That trick works in most cases but not the right way to do it.
