I'm replacing a crumpled trailing arm on a '99 V-MAX 500 SX. I have a used trailing arm from a '98 Venture that appears to be identical (apart from color, and not being crumpled of course) to the original. The original has a "V" stamped near where the boxed section is welded to the ski spindle/column tube. The one from the Venture has an "R" stamp. Does anyone know what these stamps signify?
Thanks,
- Roger
