Hey Everyone,
I'm out with my father in law and were just trying to get some advice on his 09 Yamaha Apex LTX GT.
Last week one of his cleats hit his radiator and his engine overheated, we took it to the shop got it the hole welded up and filled it back up with fluid and everything was fine. He was out for 20 minutes today and the oil light came on, we checked and the oil reservoir is full and everything looks good.
Any ideas on what we should do?
Any help would be great and if not we're off to the shop tomorrow.
Thanks,
B

When you say full, you mean it is to the full mark on the dipstick right, and your not screwing the dipstick in when you measure either?

Also measure when the sled is warm/hot, shut off sled and let sit for a minute or two then take your measurement without screwing the dipstick back in.

If it is as per above, not sure what it could be? Check your airbox and make sure it isn't full of oil, check all the lines, including vent lines and make sure they are not kinked.

Good luck
