Wondering what would be the top speed, steady RPM at top speed of a 2002 Pantera EFI with power valves. To compare, maybe ideal conditions, like a lake with minimum snow. How is everyone else doing?

Well, here's what I think. The gears on a 2002 Pantera 600 efi are 24/39 or 1.63 gear ratio. The eng. max rpm is 8200 so the top speed would be 108 mph at a 1 to 1 clutch ratio. If the clutches shifited into overdrive (which I think they never would) your top speed at 8200 rpm would be 119 mph.

My 99 580 efi Pantera, under ideal conditions, would do 95-97 on the speedo, probably 90 true speed, I would have to assume that you will get an honest 95 with 12 more ponies.

Yup, I would say that Snowride hit it right on the head. Not enough power to get the clutches to shift out. To much gear.

You may see 95 tops! I don't think you get much more, you have a lot of weight to push, and a longer track.
