Hi,

Does anyone know how to identify a vintage El Tigre using the serial number? The Arctic Cat tag on the side of the tunnel show serial # 3077157. The sled looks like a 1973 or 1974. The guy who owned it before me put custom decals on it, changed the motor it's T7B400RSIA which i know is a 1974 motor, new seat, mixed gauges and a fairly decent restoration job.

I'd like to know if the serial number tag on the side of the tunnel can identify the year of the sled and what motor came with it???

I want to buy the proper decal package for this cat.

The more responses the better. Thanks for the help.

There should be a" built on "tag near the Id Plate
Usually this will show built on 07-73 or something like that.
Also try the arctic cat club of america, they hace a web site and are my usual choice for rare cat info
