I'm a scrooge when it comes to xmas lights. My house looks the same all yr around.

When i was young little lad... my dad would put the xmas lights up once... in about 1983 my dad put some lights up on the house and they were a multitude of color... we left those darn things up for at least 5 years that about in 1987 they were all clear cause the paint had worn away off the bulbs.... hahaha.. i think this competition could get bad...lol i vote that we have the worst decorated house

I did mine a few weeks back.I lost count of how many lights,all i know is it took 4 hours which cut into my sunday beer drinkin/football watchin time :(

Heres mine....on a 30 foot pine.....

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that is the tree in front of my house! We've been doing it every year, since it was 3 feet tall.

It was too difficult to do in the dark, so I'm going to wait until Saturday to put up lights.

Got the lights up this weekend. Just took a pic.

I don't put up lights, I live too far back in the woods, nobody can see em.

I could get one of my parent's house in a couple days when I go home for winter break. :) Our apartment is kinda festive, but we only have a tree and some lights outside on our porch.
