has anyone had their tachs calibrated, if off how far on average SWRules

Well, every cat I've had I cal. the tach and they are very very close. When my "01" ZR800's tach reads 7500 rpm the tach cal. mach. read 7460. Not bad !!

??? I used a cat tach when I raced but never had one checked, I also heard if you turn the tach so shift rpm is at the top it throws it off also?

I always calibrate my tach every year. I also do alot of them for people i know. The best i have seen was of course right on , but i have alos seen one from a 2001 zr8 that was off 700. Most read high, so your safe. If you want to get yours done drop me a line.
