Greetings,

The hydraulic brake on my 90 Indy 500 requires too much pressure for my girlfriend to engage. She can't ride a sled she can't stop so I have to let her ride my brand new Zl600.

I don't think there is anything particularly wrong with the brake, as it stops fine for me.

Any ideas or tricks to help her (and me)!

Otherwise I will CAD a longer handle and have the guys in the machine shop mill it. The added leverage should help.

Another trick might be to go to a longer brake lever. The shorty doesn't offer allot of leverage.

The longer lever also offers better brake feel and not so much on and off.

Simple to install, pull the pin, remove the lever and install the pin through the new one.

Have a great day!
