just got thinking about all the posts on how suprisingly quick the F7 is and got wondering. has anyone seen numbers from a track dyno vs a crank dyno? it seems to me that in addition to a suprisingly strong motor, and light weight (depending who you ask) that maybe the new track setup might rob less hp than a 15" wide one. it seems like sleds use up lots of horsepower just trying to turn the track, and if the F7 robs less hp here that might have something to do with it's quickness? any opinions?

I read somewhere that at the crank it was putting out between 137 to 140 horsepower, and at the track with a cold pipe it was 77 hp and with a hot pipe it was 71hp.

I was thinking the same thing. I just put my ZR580 and Vmax4 on the track dyno for base line pulls last weekend. I will do some test to see what diff tracks, gearing, belts.. will make.
